Soros' plan to save the eurozone is flawed (Comment)
Even Mr. Soros -like most politicians nowadays- seems to have lost touch with reality. There is no magic trick or action that can rid us of the current debt problem in Europe and the rest of the wolrd.
Germany's ex-finance minister does not know what a hedge fund is (Comment)
Peer Steinbrueck, former finance minister of Germany and a vocal proponent for tougher regulation of hedge funds, cannot explain what a hedge fund actually is or does.
Solomon Owayda, who oversees €4.4bn of private equity investments at SVG said at a conference in London that "I am going to have a hard time when someone is trying to raise their third or fourth fund and it’s going to be $4bn or $5bn and they still want to charge 2 per cent."
