He brings more than 25 years of front-line experience in trading, portfolio management, and investment research across global financial markets, with senior roles at top-tier banks and hedge funds in London and New York. Mr. de Quillacq’s career spans equities, structured products, volatility strategies, and quantitative investing - experience that directly informs Pyrite’s litigation-informed, statistical approach to identifying fraud, misrepresentation, and operational risk at hedge funds. His work bridges financial market theory, behavioral finance, and securities litigation, enabling him to translate real-world market behavior into defensible, quantitative risk signals. He is a seasoned securities expert witness, known for his ability to analyze complex financial structures, detect abnormal or deceptive patterns, and clearly explain technical findings to courts, regulators, and institutional investors. His expertise is grounded in decades of responsibility for capital allocation, risk management, and governance. Mr. de Quillacq serves as a FINRA arbitrator, is a member of the Securities Expert Roundtable, and participates in professional investment societies.
